• Investments in supply chain are increasing. However, 9 out of 10 companies are unclear on their planning architectures and definition of common terms like integration, visibility, and analytics.

• Most companies are turning to their strategic vendor or ERP provider for help. Typically, these companies offer systems of record, but not systems of differentiation for deeper, and more responsive, insights and “what-if” analyses to determine the best plan.

• We say that we are building E2E value chains, but companies are really automating enterprise processes slowly. Most of the focus and spending is on transaction automation not planning.
