NTU Doctoral Students' Research Festival 3rd April 2020

10-minute presentation application form

At the 2020 Research Festival on Friday 3rd April we are piloting 10-minute presentations as a parallel session to the 3MT presentations. There are 6 available 10-minute time slots through the afternoon, with extra time to take questions from the audience. We are looking for presentations written for a general, academic audience NOT a specialist audience. If you are interested in applying please read on….

To enter, please fill in this application form, which includes a space for a 300-word abstract. Your abstract should be written for a mixed audience of non-specialists and be an engaging and interesting summary of your presentation, which clearly addresses impact. We will select the 6 presenters from these abstracts, so please make sure that you write concisely, express yourself engagingly and show the impact of your research in both this summary, and in your final presentation. You have until 3rd April to write and practice your presentation. Skills development will be available for you if you are one of the chosen 6.

Email your application to Simone Apel by March 16 th 2020 . Decisions on selection will be made that week and you will be contacted by Friday 20th March.
