1. Water Cycle
The Sun heats the ocean.Ocean water evaporates and rises into the air.The water vapour cools and condenses to become droplets, which
form clouds. If enough water condenses, the drops become heavy enough to fall to
the ground as rain and snow. Some rain collects in groundwells the rest flows through rivers back
into the ocean.
2.Sources of water
There are three main sources of water:
1.Rain2.Surfacewater:Oceans,Rivers,
Streams,Ponds,Lakes3.Ground water:Wells,springs
In places ,where there are no lakes or rivers, people dig wells, tube wells and hand pumps to get the under-ground water.
It does not rain all the time. But we need water everyday. So, we block flowing rivers with dams and build canals to take water fro one place to another.
