Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu,

When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin. When he smiled I realised

I'd passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile, then I realized its worth.

A single smile, just like mine could travel round the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin,

don't leave it undetected. Let's start an epidemic quick, and get the world infected!

We enjoyed attending this year’s Senior Citizen Town Hall Tea Party, with the

Mayor of Cheltenham, a fantastic team of volunteers who kept our teacups

topped up and plates overflowing with mince pies, Janet Marshall dance

academy and the Wide Valley Singers!

It was a wonderful afternoon and we hope to attend next year too!

We visited the Roses Theatre for two performances of Beauty & The

Beast this Christmas. With an excellent and interactive show keeping

us entertained, and ice cream filled intervals, we all had a wonderful

time. I wonder what next year’s performance will be?!

For the first time, we attended

the Royal Marines Christmas

Spectacular at Cheltenham

Town Hall. It was thoroughly

enjoyable with the talented band

playing traditional marches,

Christmas medleys and a variety

of film music, there was some-

thing for everyone.

Here, ex Marine Bob had a chat

with a fellow Marine before he

went on stage to accompany the

band on his trumpet.

We enjoyed another year at

Cheltenham College,

joining them for a 3 course

lunch, complete with coffee

and mince pies afterwards.

Here, Gladys is enjoying

her roast turkey dinner with

all the trimmings.
