What?

Revised Project: Vermont Chi

After being reviewed by current students within the entrepreneurship program, it was agreed upon that this product would be better marketed as a “Vermont made” product.

A zen garden is a Japanese garden that offers raked gravel that resembles running water, rocks shaped like mountains, and plants.

“Zen” means dry, which would be a garden with out any water.

Zen gardens are said to help heal and relax the mind, body, and soul. When stress arises they can rake the sand in slow strokes while breathing deeply. This is meant to calm them.

Experiential learning is the key for many people to fully comprehend business theories and concepts.

Planning, operating, reviewing, and evaluating their own business that will benefit themselves and their classmates is the optimum experience for students.

Desired Outcomes

After this experience and the completion of writing their own business plan, students will be in a better position to decide whether or not entrepreneurship is for them.

In the state of Vermont, entrepreneurial enterprises are extremely prevalent among the types of businesses that citizens are involved in.

If, through participating in this program, a student can find a passion that was not apparent nor considered possible, then it shall be considered a success.
