National ParksThe Kuscenneti National Park in Turkey and the Okefenokee

National Refuge in Georgia are the largest parks.

The parks are restoring habitats and safety of wildlife.

Turkey has 33 National Parks.

Georgia has 9 Refuge Parks.

Kuscenneti National ParkThe park has outstanding achievements in wildlife.

Rewarded the European Dipolma.

the Okefenokee National Refuge “Trembling Earth” is their nickname due to the swamps.

Rewarded the Southern Region Director’s Conservation Award.

Bird watching Bird watching is Georgia and

Turkey’s activity.

The value of learning about bird watching is a common activity we both have in Georgia and Turkey.

You can learn about all of the different types of birds, and talk to other bird watchers about their experiences.

Ash-throated Flycatcher and Common Eider are birds in Georgia.

Wall creepers and kingfishers are birds in Turkey.

Both of our nations have migrating birds that travel to warmer climates.
