Tips

• Record each question separately• If using a webpage, password protect (You will

have to monitor to be sure students don’t Google the answer.)

• iPad, using webpage: Use Guided Access (students can’t leave the website without your password)

• iPad, using iTunes: Use AutoFill, not sync

Upload MP3’s to a password protected web page, on your classroom site.

Or…

iTunes

• Import mp3’s to iTunes• Name the album (ie) 3_ELA_U1_wk3 for each

mp3. This groups them together, making it easier to create a playlist.

Open iTunes

Add files to iTunes Library

Browse and Select MP3’s

Name the Album

For each “song” (recording)

Add a Playlist

Name the Playlist

Drag Album to Playlist

Connect iPad to Computer - usb

Click“iPad” in the toolbar

WARNING

• It may appear that the iPad is resetting, but it is OK.

• Do NOT setup iCloud or try to login to the “findme” iCloud space.

• Do NOT set a passcode!

iPad Screen, Summary Screen

Click “On This iPad”

Select your Playlist from “AutoFill From”

Click AutoFill

Your Playlist will copy to the iPad.

If you need to remove them, you must plug into iTunes and select the “songs”. Right-click and “delete”.
