Using Databases

From the High School web site click on “Databases” on the left hand side

You can use all of the separate databases:

All other log in passwords are “empirelink” if needed.

If you use the Proquest Research Databases the log in is “empirelink” for BOTH the user

name and password

When searching Proquest Research Databases – type in your search term. Your results

will look as follows:

You will get the full citation for the article, as well as the full text of the article. You can

print the articles, save them, narrow the results, and email them.

For Grolier- make sure you choose High School at the top.

You can choose articles, new sources, fast facts, or web sites.

Using the Gale Ebooks and Databases obtained by SLS – type your search in the right

hand search box, this will search all Gale databases– you will then need to type in the

password – empirelink – to get your results:

On the left side you can choose images, videos, news, books etc. Full text articles, and

citations
