Grants support individuals and teams of scholars pursuing advanced research in the humanities that will contribute to scholarly

TCUs • Summer Stipends (8 weeks)

NEA Office of Research & AnalysisThe NEA Office of Research & Analysis conducts research

on the value and impact of the arts.

Studies examine the impact of the arts on health and human development, community livability,

and economic prosperity, as well as trends in audience participation and the impact of technology

on arts participation.

Research Goals

• Identify and cultivate new and existing data sources in the arts

• Investigate the value of the U.S. arts ecosystem and the impact of the arts on other domains of American life

• Elevate the public profile of arts-related research
