Welcome to Sorority Recruitment at UNO!
We are so excited that you chose to be here with us this week! Joining a sorority is an experience that you will never forget. Not long ago, we were sitting right where you are, nerves and excitement at an all-time high. Deciding to sign up for recruitment turned out to be one of the greatest decisions either of us made in our college career. It provided us with the opportunity to excel academically and socially with the support of our chapters. The four Panhellenic chapters at UNO have something very unique to offer each of their member s , and you w i l l have the opportunity to experience that throughout this week. The decisions you make and the women you meet this week will shape your college experience. We encourage you to enjoy every moment of it and remember to keep an open mind and a positive attitude! With Best Wishes,
Ashley and Caroline

Your Recruitment Counselor will be a tour guide through your recruitment experience. You will be matched with a Recruitment Counselor who has completely disaffiliated from her sorority during recruitment. She does not attend any of her chapter recruitment events and is completely unaware of the individual women her chapter is recruiting. This is done so she can devote her time and abilities to assisting potential new members, like yourself, in an unbiased, confidential, and professional manner. Your Recruitment Counselor is an excellent source of information and a great listener, but most of all, she is there to be your friend. Your Recruitment Counselor gives up her letters to help you find yours.

FSL*VocabCol leg iate Panhel lenic Council (or CPC) is the governing body of National Panhellenic Conference ( N P C ) s o r o r i t y organizations at UNO. Our campus council consists of representatives from the four Panhellenic sororities at UNO (Alpha Xi Delta, Chi Omega, Sigma Kappa, and Zeta Tau Alpha). We work to establish and promote the Four Pillars of Sorority Life; Leadership, Scholarship, Sisterhood, and Service.
If you’re looking for the best way to meet people on campus while being a part of an organization that promotes academics, leadership, service, and overall excellence, you should consider Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha!

"" Check-in begins at 5:00 pm.
Recruitment begins with a General Information Night. You will meet the 2014 Recruitment Team, learn about Panhellenic and FSL, and have a chance to ask any questions about the recruitment process. Attire is casual - jeans and a cute shirt
Night*1:*Orientation*(Aug8st*19)
Night*2:*Slideshow*Night*(Aug8st*20)Check-in begins at 1:30 pm. This is a Video and Orientation Night with the four sororities. You will get a chance to meet each chapter and learn more about them. Attire is casual - jeans/patterned shorts and a cute shirt or a summer dress
Night*3:*Skit*Night*(Aug8st*21)Check-in begins at 2:30 pm. During Skit Night, all the sororities perform a skit presentation about what FSL means to their chapter. This is one of the most exciting nights of recruitment! Attire is a bit dressier - a skirt or dress; something you might wear to a summer wedding
Night*4:*Preference*Night*(Aug8st*22)Check-in begins at 3:00 pm. This is the final and most formal night of recruitment. It is a meaningful night where the sorority members share their personal stories about how their sorority experience has been special to them. It is also the night where you decide which sorority you would like to join. This is the most formal night of recruitment - a dress is appropriate
Day*5:*Bid*Day!*(Aug8st*23)This is when you find out which sorority you have an invitation to join! You are introduced to and spend the afternoon getting to know your new sisters! Attire is back to casual
