Unit Visit Tracking is available through MyScouting for commissioners to electronically submit unit visit reports.

MyScouting will provide access to Unit Visit Tracking and other applications such as E-Learning, Tour Permits, Scouting Community, and ScoutParents. Each user establishes a profile that determines the menu items available to the profile. The profile has the user’s Member ID and council.

The Home page displays navigation tabs and current entries.

Navigation is accomplished with four tabs:

• Home - Display Focus and Visits• Visits - Display Visits/Add Visit• Focus - Display Focus/Add Focus• Help - User Help for system

The Home page displays five personal Focus entries in date order beginning with most recent.

The Home page displays five visit reports in date order beginning with the most recent report.

Most recent entries.

Visits page lists each unit report that the commissioner has entered.

Printing provides the Unit Visit Tracking list of visit reports.Council and District Commissioners view entered reports.

Export provides the report function for Unit Visit Tracking.

The export file shows all data columns unless the user selects fewer columns to export.

Commissioners in council and district positions will see all reports within their organization level.

Quality indicators will display in the Export file if selected for inclusion.

Five Indicators:

Planning: Did the observed program reflect prior planning and preparation?

Program: Was it appropriate to the advancement and program objectives?

Leadership: Was adult (and age-appropriate youth) leadership present ?

Tone: Did the Scouts enjoy and be engaged with the program activity?

Attendance: Was attendance at activity at or near number of enrolled youth?

Export file allows customization by selecting the columns to include.

Filter allows search for Visit reports.

Commissioners who serve in council and district positions will be able to search for specific unit reports by district, by unit, and by date range.

Unit commissioners are able to search for specific unit reports by unit and by date range.

Add Visit is used to make a new unit visit report or edit a report.

The information on Region, Area, Council, and District will be auto-filled for the unit commissioner. The unit will be selected by the commissioner.

If a saved report is being edited the unit is also auto-filled.

Each unit assigned to a unit commissioner is available for selection.

Add Visit provides Quality Indicators that are confirmed by selecting appropriate radio buttons.

Quality Indicators will display on the report summary and are included in the export file report for the unit visit.

Add Visit Comments for each unit visit may be made. Category for the comment is selected and the comment is entered.

Report Comments can be removed later. Up to 255 characters allowed for each comment entry.

Comments are added and removed by the unit commissioner entering the report.

Comments made about Unit Visits are displayed for review.

Each comment is given a category.

When Visit reports are made the type of visit is selected and a brief description may be entered.

Supervising commissioners will be able to export comments made after unit visit reports are entered and saved.

Focus tab displays all personal Focus notes made by the user.

This allows a memo for the user on important steps that need to be taken to provide service to units, districts, and councils.

Each Focus may laterbe removed or edited.

Add Focus provides the form for the entry of a new Focus memo. The user has 255 characters available for the Focus note.

The Help tab is available to provide user guidance and information.

Each form has a Help link to content specific to the page.
