Under ICBC’s Comprehensive coverage windshields can be safely repaired when:

The damage isn’t over a heated windshield element.

There isn’t pre-existing damage (such as a long crack) that doesn’t qualify for repair.

The damage isn’t over any sensor or camera system.

Windshield repair claims do not impact insurance premiums or future deductibles.

The damage isn’t a previously failed repair.

Maximum of three damage areas repaired per claim.

The repaired damage isn’t larger than 1/4" in the driver’s critical viewing area.

The damage is smaller than a loonie.

Important:Windshield repairs must be in compliance with theBC Motor Vehicle Act Regulations.
