The entire HSC will take at least TWO Years

(this applies even if you have completed year 11)

Students may enrol in a maximum of three 2 unit subjects at the initial enrolment.

Extension 1 subjects can be added ‘extra’ to your total number of units.

The ATAR is a number between 0 and 99.95 which provides a measure of your overall academic achievement in the HSC in relation to other students. It is used by Universities for selection. The ATAR is a RANK, not a MARK.

The Limited ATAR is calculated using 2 units of English and the best 3 other units of Category A

Year 10 leavers wishing to do Maths or Science are required to enrol into the corresponding Preliminary Course (4hrs/week during the Day only).

Subjects vary from 4hrs per week to 8hrs per week. Check your timetable carefully so you do not miss a lesson.

Languages – available only for students enrolled in at least 1 HSC subject at Ultimo TAFE

$ 462 per year plus $30 sundry charge.

Note: Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks, writing materials and other equipment.

Writing Task Writing Task Writing task should take 15mins to complete (make sure you

include full contact details).
