About the Chancellor’s Coalition for the Visual Arts

Through the works of the Chancellor’s Coalition for the Visual Arts, the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith has become a leader in the development of a public venue for the exhibition and collection of works of art that benefit UAFS students and residents of the greater Fort Smith region. The mission of the CCVA is to develop, maintain and exhibit an art collection that enhances and supports the university’s academic programs.

The growing collection, coupled with a busy exhibit schedule, offers an outstanding resource for faculty and students as well as the opportunity to meet our mission of bringing cultural life to our region.
