The everyday life they go through just to survive another day.

Many of the people that

live in poverty have to

sometimes go for days

without food, shelter,

and water.

Having to pick thru

the trash just to find

something to eat.

The situation they have to go thru.

Around 27-28 percent of children are underweight or stunted.

The group that poverty affects the most.

Why has poverty existed?

The over population has led to loss of jobs.

They do not receive a good education.

Amount of deaths caused from poverty.

There is 1 child dying every 3 seconds 18 children dying every minuteThere is 26,500 children that die every day.

America’s Second Harvest is an group that provides emergency food help to more than 23 million starving Americans each year through a system of over 200 food banks and food-rescue programs.

Celebrity's help fight poverty

Seven Fountains School in South Africa .In January 2007, Oprah's Angel Network opened doors to an innovative new primary school for 1,000 boys and girls in the poverty stricken community of KwaZulu-Natal.

Education in poverty.There are 104 million children ages 5 to 12 that do not attend school and there are94 percent of children who don't attend school live in the developing world.
