through the Project Assurance workshops for 2 Red
Prairie ( WMS ) projects.
• The Workshop reviews the whole project from the PM
Requirements to Operations right through to IT &
Communications.
• This is done 10, 6 & 3 weeks before Go Live to ensure
the whole project is ready and any / all risks are
mitigated & contingencies in place.

• Network Rail: Programme Management of the £1.8m budget for full NDC to
NDC operational transfer, [support] new NDC design, build & fit out, new
Warehouse Management system implementation, depot consolidations, DHL
site decommission
• National Grid: Large scale TUPE transfer, fleet procurement, implementation of
[new] Target Operating Model, take-on of 2 x warehousing operations
• Network Rail: Implementation of the Road Haulage Planning Centre contract for
Networks Rails ‘heavy’ product movements nationwide
• Support of large tender responses & customer presentations; engaging as far
‘upstream’ in the process as possible
• Delivery of successful WRAP renewal bid management of the resulting
implementation project, including new NDC, Call Centre and Outbase network
• Completion of the inaugural DHL Supply Chain Project Management Academy,
which selected 8 high-potential candidates from across Europe

• Existing site closures - exit & decommissioning of two DC sites

• Full design and development of front end platform / website.
• Fully automated data interface between front end solution and Iceland back ends systems.
• In store RF picking solution via HHT’s.
• Vehicle replacement programme for over 1200 vehicles including design, build and opening of
driver centre of excellence.
• Set up of the newly created Delivered Sales department in Iceland.
• Full set up and integration of the on-line solution throughout the Iceland business including buying,
supply chain, marketing, legal, commercial and retail.

• Successful 25 store trail in April 2013 leading to full sign off by Iceland Board.
• Southern region roll out to 280 stores completed August 2013.
• Sales of c.£1 million per week pre-Christmas 2013 exceeding budgeted sales.
• New Mercedes vehicle roll out in progress in line with driver centre of excellence training.
• Customer satisfaction surveys showed 99% found the solution easy to use and 98%
