Scope of review
The individual review of NC/BR will
Provide an assessment of the completeness of the NC/BR
Provide an indication of whether it was submitted on time
Check the consistency of information contained in the NC/BR with that contained in the BR/NC and GHG inventory
Undertake a detailed technical examination of the reporting elements in NC/BR
Identify issues related to completeness, transparency, timeliness and adherence to reporting guidelines

Workflow of review of NC and BR
Timeline: preparation prior to review
Twelve weeks prior to the review week:
- Inform the Party under review
-Seek confirmation of review dates
- Compose the expert review team (ERT)
Eight weeks prior to the review week:
- Send invitation to the ERT
- Send background documents to the ERT
Four weeks prior to the review week:
- Provide more structured guidance to the ERT
- Request preliminary questions from the ERT
Two weeks prior to the review week:
- Organize a telephone conference with the ERT
- Exchange views on the initial findings of the ERT
Timeline: preparation of review report
• Additional information, where required, to be provided by Party within two weeks after the review
• Eight weeks for report drafting/editing
Review week
• Sent to Party for comments
• Four weeks for Party to comment
