To whom it may concern.

I am a french student in interior architecture, I already have an advanced vocational diploma and I am now preparing a double Masters Degree in Interior Architecture and Product Design at Camondo – Les Arts Décoratifs. It’s the European top 10 architecture Schools, in which Philippe Starck studied.I am looking for an internship, for five months this summer, in an architecture agency in New York City, to complete my curriculum and further develop my future professional approch.

I have already completed internships as assistant architect in Parisian agencies. Durring three months I have been working with Lucas Battaglia the former project manager of Renzo Piano.During purely professional training perdiods, I had the opportunity to take part in the whole process of various projects from sketching to actual conception from small appartments to a whole residential building. My school’s double program - both in Interior Architecture and Product Design - has enabled to conceive an interior design project until its last details.I can conceive a project using3D software an I master 3D renderings.

I would like to work whithin a dynamic team on the projects’ different steps from conception to final development.

MUSICAL VIBRATIONS

Rehabilitation of a Railway Station

In an old parisian railway station I propose a waiting room organized around a scene where unprofessional musicians can play facing spectators. Space is bounded by a thick wall evoking musical vibrations. It is composed of copper sheets streched between the ground and the ceiling. Some of them are meant to create a melody when travelers walk by and strike them.

THE SALON DE CAFÉ CONCEPT

San Marco

San Marco is luxury coffee brand. This brand distribution channel is mainly supermarkets. For ten years San Marco mar-keting strategy has not evolved, as a result sells have decreased severely. I proposed to redirect the marketing strategy toward a luxury market segment by de-signing a unique Salon de Café concept.According to the genuine Italian glass work skills of Murano, I designed mold and textured glass walls that create little de-gustation spaces. While drinking coffee, customers experience a feeling of diving deeply into the melting mater, warm, trans-parent but slightly refreshing, inflexible and reflecting.

Mrs. DEFAYSSEAppartement 800 ft2

During an internship, I designed the interior of an 800 ft2 apartment. The project lies on a transversal wall that goes through the apartment. The thickness of this wall hosts a library, some compartments and an access to the resting area.

STRUCTURAL UTI-LITIES COLUMN4 bedrooms, 3 levels

apartment

The apartment is structured over a central wall bonding the two lower levels. The third level is connected to the rest of the apartment by a light slot enhancing the stairway. This last level is separated from the core by a library and a reading space. The apartment structure allows the ease of displacement of light and individuals.

MIX FRAICHEURPartnership with Ricard

Company

I proposed to revisit the cocktail portfolio (called Mix) recently created by Ricard. I introduced an original and friendly preparation ceremonial. The purpose of this ceremonial is to highlight the Ricard brand during drinking moments. Party host will offer to his guests the opportunity to create their own Mix using Ricard with pressed and pounded fresh fruits directly in their glasses.

Watching a movie people tend to adopt a casual posture, laying on the sofa, the feet on the coffee table. In a typical configuration, the coffee table is facing the sofa and is often used as its extension. “Tablo-man” concept is a coffee table that includes a large foot stood hidden under a moving tray. Once seated, an easy move is sufficient to reveal this comfortable foot stood.“Tabloman” is shaped like a uni-form shell containing a smooth and mysterious core hanged by the top. As the tray opens, the foot stood seams to be floating.

WILD STOOLA steel and felt stool

The formal reference to the animal generates the soul of the stool alte-ring its object status to companion status. Like any animal this stool is composed of bones and fur here replaced by steel and felt. Felt ma-terial is hidden under the structure and appears as little tufts piercing the steel sheets. The felt growths are molded du-ring the carding process for fitting into the pierced and fold steel sheet. The body and the legs are assembled with rivets.

BEATING AROUND THE BUSH

Workshop

Some French expressions, modified by phonetic association, are creating an ambivalence, a fault in the spoken language. Starting from these expressions a series of fashion like pictures has been taken. These pictures generate instability in the language and the image.
