It is quite difficult to imagine Christian religion, especially the Orthodox one, without
worshipping the holy image – an icon. Admiration one feels in front of an Icon
is the comprehension of the integrity of existence, the gladness of humility and unity
with the highest spiritual world.
Tibaldi, the oldest Italian pen manufacturer presents the Tribute to Orthodoxy collection
as paying tribute to the Orthodox icons.
Our Lady of Kazan, the icon of the end of XVIII – beginning of XIX century
The replica of the icon is reproduced
on the Tibaldi writing instrument
Phi – the concept known as the Divine Proportion – informs every aspect
of the structure of the all Tibaldi pens. For example, the proportion of the closed pen’s cap
to the visible part of the barrel equals 1.628.
Phi has been used in art, architecture and music for centuries, often unintentionally. Aesthetically, Phi is a symbol of perfect and natural beauty. The divine proportion exists
in a multitude of forms in nature: in animal skin patterns, in the arrangement of leaves on a stem,
in the form of a seaslug shell.
Divine Proportion
The Tibaldi Tribute to Orthodoxy collection is based on the original Tibaldi Divina design.
