This part of the road is reasonably straight and level – it was once a logging rail bed

The next 495 m will likely require the first switch back to take us to the Pass.

The pass… highest point of the Third Crossing, 1215 m. The Powell River divide. 66 km from mile zero.

Follow existing Provincial road to Highway 99

At 173 km the end of the Third Crossing… a new connection between the coastal and interior communities is complete.
