Dramatic Society was

founded in 1947

It is run entirely by

volunteers.

On, off and in front

of the stage.

The HHDS owns

the Playhouse Theatre

seating 194 patrons

situated on the corner of

Lourensford Rd/Swalle Rd

Somerset West, SA

The theatre was built in

1972 and extended

over the years.

It is an aging building.

We have a long

history of countless

plays performed,

winning awards and

launching careers.

And now we need

the help of the

community to

keep going.
