Exhaust Valve

A Camless engine uses

To open Poppet Valves

1• This phase starts when the

tip of the rotor passes the intake port.

• As the rotor moves the volume of the chamber expands with the mixture of fuel & air

• As the rotor moves continuously the air & fuel mixture gets compressed.

• Most rotary engines have two spark plugs. When the plugs ignite , create pressure to move the rotor.

• This cycle continues until the peak of the rotor passes exhaust port

• Once the peak of the rotor passes the exhaust port, the high pressure combustion gasses are free to flow out of the exhaust .

• The same cycle continues from intake to exhaust again & again.

This actuating system can be developed in 2 groups

Valve

Crankshaft

The camless valve timing electronically operated by

Microcontroller that controls electro-mechanical rotary

solenoid actuators

Electro-mechanical rotary solenoid actuators

Solenoids connected to the exhaust valves relieving the

engine from load

Depending upon the load &speed microcontroller process the information and use the pulse width modulation to actuate the solenoid valves

electromechanical Valve

1 The flow of air through engine’s valve directly controlled .

2 Increases the engine performance.

3 Improves the fuel economy of engine .

Used in a source of pressurized hydraulic fluid

and hydraulic actuator coupled to the poppet valve.

The flow of pressurized hydraulic fluid is made through the motion

of first & second position

The flow of pressurized hydraulic

fluid is controlled by an electrically operated

hydraulic valve

• Engine load sensor• Exhaust gas sensor• Valve position sensor• Engine speed sensor
