Will Be Universal

“For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.” Romans 14:10b

“he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world ” Acts 17:31

“But when the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory: and before him shall be gathered all the nations.” Matthew 25:31

John 12:48 “He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.”

Rev. 20:12 “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”

v. 22 “Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray the Lord, if perhaps the thought of thy heart shall be forgiven thee.”

Matt. 12:37 “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

Matt. 12:36 “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”

Judged by Our Opportunities

Matthew 11:21-22 “Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

22. But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.

Matthew 10:14-15 “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

15. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.”

Why ? These cities had opportunities that Sodom and Gomorrah did not have.

The Judgment will be Final

There will be no appealThere will be no miscarriage of justice

Will be judged by what we did in the flesh

Eternal life or Eternal Death

“will render to every man according to his works:” Rom. 2:6

Rev. 20:15 “…if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.”

Rev. 6:15-17 “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;16. And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:17. For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
