The Hour of Code – a global event

Students enjoyed the slideshow while waiting for our special guests.

Our HKES community was proud to receive the gift of $10,000 from code.org.

The Presentation

The Governor, the librarian, the Student Council President, the principal, the Superintendent, and the Lieutenant Governor

The Governor shares his vision for all students in Hawaii to have access to technology so they can be prepared for their future.

Students are the Teachers

Alexandria tutors Governor Abercrombie. He was proud to have completed 3 levels.

The Governor invited Skyler and Jocelyn to join him in the interview.

The Superintendent shared that coding is an essential skill for our students to learn.

Students Celebrated a Successful Event!

4th and 5th grade students were excellent teachers! Their reward? Enjoying the snacks donated by the PTO! Great job, kids!!
