Welcome to THE GLOBAL SUMMIT™, dedicated to uniting the world’s social, economic and
environmental movements to ensure a sustainable future for all of us.
Launched in San Francisco in 2008, and road-tested in 2010, The Global Summit™ 2012
biennial will be held August 15-17 in the beautiful London Pleasure Gardens, alongside the
Thames, timed to coincide with the Summer Olympic Games.
As part of our mission to advance new models of partnership, Empowerment WORKS serves
the role of facilitating organization, co-developing each Summit with, and only with a global
community of ‘Partners in Empowerment’ sharing core values of self-determination,
transparency and inclusivity. In demonstrating the power of mass collaboration in the
global spotlight, The Global Summit 2012 is a timely opportunity to activate the critical
Solutions and people needed to address the most pressing challenges facing Humanity.
