Introduction:
A nuclear power plant has endangered effects invarious phases of life besides producing electricalpower.
To avoid these effects we automate the workingof the plant by utilizing task managers,surveyors,and security robots guided by distributed controlsystem wherefrom they receive orders of their
jobs.

inventions.Nuclear power plants producesharmful radiations along with nuclearwaste which effect the human health.Thusthe necessity of an automated nuclearpower plant arises.

Communication Hub:
This forms a major part of the distributed control systemwith the capability to communicate with the taskmanagers,receive information from the sensors and prepareextra robots for disaster management.
This hub consists of five engineers needed for theworking of the plant- a mechanical engineer, a mechatronicsengineer, a communication engineer, an electronics engineerand a person well versed with the working of the powerplant. The communication sub-system shown receives andtransmits IR radiations of wavelength 904 nm.

Sensors and Surveyors:
All the factors can be analyzed by using varioussensors like temperature sensors, photoelectricsensors, ultrasonic sensors etc. The surveyors
collect the information and send them to the hub.
The hub receives the information, processes itusing the sensor program as designed for the safetyof the nuclear plant. Then the information is sent tothe safety robots.

Security robots:
The security of the plant is taken care by the microcontrollers, which prevent anyone from entering intothe plant. This is implemented by the password andfinger print- identification technique, which prevents
intruders from accessing the resources of the plant.
The security micro controller send an alarm signalto the hub, which then shut downs all the activities inthe reactor and the hub tries to locate the intruder.

Conclusion:
Automation makes the power plant a safer place andalso ensures that no mistakes happen which causes theplant to be destroyed. The nuclear power is the sourceof energy for the future. The developed and developingcountries are exploiting the energy in such a way that
without nuclear power we will be unable to satisfy theirenergy needs. So we can’t discard nuclear power sayingit causes harm to the mankind. Therefore the otheralternative is completely automating the plant to savemankind from the threat of nuclear radiations and inmaking the world a better place to live in.
