Key Action1/ School Education Staff Mobility

4th Geniko Lykeio of Kalamata(Greece)

co-funded by the European Union

The 4th Geniko Lykeio of Kalamata (Greece), has carried out six(6)

mobilities of its staff for educational purpose, within the frame of

Erasmus+/KA1, in the following countries:

Italy

Czech Republic

France

Spain

Sweden

Duration of the mobility project: 01-10-2014 to 30-09-2015

The initial goals of the project were:

The enrichment of the curriculum by implementing interdisciplinary programs

The participant teachers, but also all the school staff, to become more skillful in implementing new teaching methods

The enhancement of the school’s European orientation

The creation of a long term development plan for the school, based on the acquired experience

• Subject: The teaching method of Ancient Greek

• Date: October 27-31, 2014

• Description: Through her integration in the daily program of the host school , the teacher acquired experience of the way the subject of Ancient Greek from the original text is taught in a Lyceum of Italy. She also exchanged educational practices with Italian professors and got familiar with Italian education system.

• Subject: Human Resource Management in Education

• Date: March 16-20, 2015

• Description: The program included Management courses adapted in the administration in the Education. It focused on the characteristics, on the virtues and faculties of a school leader /Manager, but also on the management of Educational human potential. Real cases of crises’ management were studied, which came from the labourenvironments of the participants.

• Subject: the pedagogical use and digital resources in European school collaboration projects

• Date: March 8-18 , 2015

• Description: The teacher familiarized herself with numerous of educational software that can be used in the teaching process and in European programs. She also created and materialized teaching scenarios. During her activity, she joined classes in schools of primary and secondary level. She also exchanged educational experiences and practices with her French colleagues and got experience of French school and educational system.

Valsami Maria(teacher of english)

• Provider:Cervantes Training

• Subject: Creativity in Teaching and Learning using ICT-The Digital Classroom

• Date: July 27-31, 2015

• Description: The course was a mixture of theoretical and practical knowledge. ICT, Web 2.0 tools, social networking, histology, web pages, were used during the course. All teachers who participated in the course exchanged experiences and educational practices, in order to create the Digital Classroom.

• Subject: Reading the city

• Date: August 2-8, 2015

• Description: The objective of the program was all the participant teachers to acquire the necessary skills so that they can be able to “read” the urban landscape exploring the aspects of its cultural identity. The program focused on the following fields: urbanization and learning, national heritage and city, city and learning on the spot, aspects of city, urban space and minorities.

• Date: August 30 – September 5, 2015

• Description: The particular training program provided education in sectors of pedagogy and new technology. It emphasized on team-work learning and learning via autopsy, on the digital literacy and the familiarization with the new means of technology, as much as on the creation of suitable conditions of approach and deepening in cultural elements of European culture. It also cultivates and promotes the collaboration and exchange of good practices with European colleagues.

All the activities and the learning outcomes were released in thelocal media

The activities and the learning outcomes were also published onthe school’s web page and on the social media, so that everyonewho is interested in the subject can obtain knowledge of it.
