Pubilc sector in general
• Since 1 July 2005– All public registers and public administrations in Norway
are obliged to re-use the data registered in the CCR, including the organization number.
CCR – required and voluntarily registration
Required registration:• Those entities that are obliged to register in an associated
register
Voluntarily registration:• Those entities which are not required to register
Types of entities in CCR
• Government bodies, counties and municipalities
• Companies, associations, foundations, bankruptcy estates and other legal entities
• Sole proprietorships
Data registered for all entities
• Identification data– Name and address– Type of entity and date of establishment– Purpose (type of activity)– Contact person/manager
• Codes– Status (running, bankrupt, etc.)– NACE-code
• Information that may be registered– Phone number and electronic addresses– Administrative information
Data registered, if it applies
• Representatives/roles– Participants (not shareholders)– Board of directors– Auditor, Accountant– Who has the right to sign/Unlimited power of attorney– Group of companies
• Extents– Capital– Number of employees
CCRs influence on electronic services in Norway
• Important condition enabling the creation of satisfactory electronic services in Norway
• Key factors:– Unique id-number– Source for key data about legal entities– Legislature, which oblige public registers to re-use
CCR-data
Connection between CCR and Altinn
• The organization number is used to identify legal entities in Altinn
• Admission rights for an entity in Altinn is determined by the roles/representatives that are registered in the CCR
• All forms in Altinn are pre-filled with relevant information about the entity from the CCR
