In 2000, Stefano Nappi’s family and friends created the “Stefano Nappi Fund” in memory of Stefano and in recognition of the care he and his family received at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center. Each year a golf tournament is held in Stefano’s name, the proceeds of which are contributed to his fund. Donations to the Stefano Nappi Fund are used to provide hospital patients, their families, and the nursing staff with many special services and support that otherwise would not be available to them.

patient & family supportThe Nappi Fund supports programs and services at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital that otherwise would not be possible.
Two of the most popular programs offered thanks to The Nappi Fund are the yoga and reiki programs for parents, siblings and patients. Held inside of the in-patient unit, patient families are able to experi-ence the benefits of yoga and reiki without ever leaving the hospital.

You are cordially invited to participate in the 14th Annual Stefano Nappi BBCH Memorial Golf Tournament. By participating in this tournament in the past, the enthusiastic and warm hearted friends and family of Stefano Nappi have raised over $166,000 for the Stefano Nappi Fund at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center. These dollars are used to provide hospital patients, their families and nursing staff with many special services and support that otherwise would not be available to them.
There are FOUR ways to get involved in this tournament: 1. Register a Golf Team, 2. Sponsor a Tee or a Green, 3. Donate an Auction or Raffle Item, and/or 4. Make a Donation.
The details for this year’s event are listed below:DATE: Sunday, September 15, 2013LOCATION: Riverside Golf Course followed by lunch at Bruno’s Restaurant TIME: 7 a.m. Registration; 8 a.m. Shotgun StartFORMAT: Four-person scrambleCOST: $380 per Foursome. Includes t-shirts, carts, green fees, and lunch at Bruno’s. $200 for Tee or Green Sponsor. Includes sponsor banner on hole for the day. All sponsors to be recognized at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.
This tournament sells out fast, so register early and pay promptly if interested. We cannot reserve any spots without full payment. Teams will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. Any and all donations are welcomed with much gratitude! The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donors will receive an acknowledgement letter suitable for tax purposes.
