TextureTexture is the surface quality of an object. We experience texture when we touch objects and feel their roughness, smoothness or patterns. Texture is the artist's way of mapping these tactile impressions on to the two-dimensional picture. Texture is created by varying the pattern of light and dark areas on an object.

TextureTexture is the feel and appearance of a surface, especially how rough or smooth it is. Texture can be visual as well as tactile. Graphic designers use texture to represent an object and give it dimension. Take these oranges they are shown in a 2 dimensional format yet they appear that you can touch them as if they were right in front of you. This is all done with the texture of the oranges.

TextureTexture can be used to turn a 2D object to a 3D object. There really isn’t any do’s and don’t it is just a tool to esthetically enhance a picture or object.
