Project title: Digital Academics
This Project is developed a Digital Academics mobile application
which can be used to manage all the activities of Students and Staff in
colleges. The system will help students and staff both to use multiple
features on a single application.

Project title: Detection of pesticide in fruits
The IoT based system “Detection of pesticide in fruits” is developed by the
students of KBTCOE. The main aim of this project is to deploy a low cost and
easy to use system for the common mass. The system uses IoT sensors and a
Regression analysis algorithm to detect the residue of pesticides.

Project title: Health Kiosk
The IoT based system “Health Kiosk” is developed by the students of KBTCOE.
The main aim of this project is to propose a model which monitors various health
parameters like heart rate (BPM), body temperature, blood pressure (mm Hg),
height and weight of an individual. The collected data through the system is then
transferred over the internet to a smartphone application of the patient. This data is
transferred to the registered doctors on to their smartphone application as well as
standalone computers. The doctor can then prescribe the medication based on the
data results shown by the system. The designed prototype will reduce the burden
on patients to visit the doctor every time for monitoring of these health parameters.

Project Title : Voice recognition in Elevator System
The IoT based system “Voice recognition in elevator system” is developed by
the students of KBTCOE. The main purpose of this project is to operate the
elevator using voice commands, which will be useful for Dwarf people,
Physically disabled people or any who prefer to avoid the touch ability. The
devices used to control different devices and integrate each module – voice
module, motor module and LCD.

We all know that necessity is the mother of invention. And this COVID-19 the global
pandemic has taught us a lot many things. It’s like one serious mother. This pandemic brought
out a lot many changes to our everyday life as well as put many restrictions on us. It affected not
only our country’s economy but the whole world’s economy also had an impact on jobs and
industries including every field. But at the same time this pandemic situation taught the way to
live life and made us independent in different ways. It made our mind to work towards new
innovations and findings. And many people brought out their best innovations in this global
pandemic. Let’s see some of those:
This Abbott’s ID NOW system has helped physicians detect influenzas A and B, strep A,
respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), but now it has helped to test the covid-19 virus in just less than
15 minutes. The toaster-size device works by heating nasal samples in an acidic solution that
cracks open the envelope of the viruses, exposing their RNA, which ID NOW amplifies at a
constant temperature instead of the heating and cooling cycles that PCR machines use. Gaining
emergency authorization from the US Food and Drug Administration in late March, the COVID-
19 ID NOW test was one of the first tests accessible to the US public.
Belfast-based Axial3D, an artificial intelligence software company specializing in medical 3D
printing to create anatomical models, has deployed its 3D capability in new ways to print face
shields, ventilator parts and nasopharyngeal swabs for testing. Following clinical trials in New
York and Florida, it has sent hundreds of thousands of specially designed swabs to capture
COVID-19 samples across the United States, Europe and Asia. Measuring around 15cm, these
are produced on Form labs printers on surgical guide resin and keep samples more intact than
traditional swabs; they can also be condensed into tubes. Each printer produces 1,000 a day.
Scientists have used intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) to treat immune deficient or immune
suppressed patients and convalescent plasma to treat infectious diseases for more than a century.
And plasma is one of many treatments now being tried for COVID-19. But biological samples
drawn from donors are not the most standardized therapeutics. Enter Giga Gen’s Surge platform,
which uses single-cell sequencing to “capture and recreate” libraries of antibodies from blood
donors. To create these libraries, the company runs donors’ blood samples through the Surge
platform to isolate individual antibody-producing B cells into micro droplets and extract the
RNA that encodes the antibodies. From these genetic sequences they can create a “blueprint of
that person’s immune system. Company researchers then select some of those antibodies to
engineer in mammalian cells to create a recombinant antibody treatment, which they say is much
more potent than convalescent plasma or IVIG, based on in vitro experiments and tests in animal
models. GigaGen does not currently plan to sell Surge, but rather has been using the platform to
develop treatments for cancers, immunodeficiency disorders, and, most recently, COVID-19.
