How to use your Teacher’s Card

Go to our Online library (Search the library catalogue)

Login – at the top right of the page

Click Teacher’s Collection books in Group memberships

How to search for an Author, Title or Keyword

Click Refine results

Enter Author, Title or keyword (Anywhere)

Click OK

How to reserve a book

Click

Items to reserve – select

Any item held at Store – Teachers Collection

Click Place reservation

Your Reservation has been placed. There is no charge for reservations on Teacher’s tickets.

You can check the waiting list of a title

You can check if a book in the Teachers Collection

is Onloan –

and when it is due back

Cancel or edit your reservations

Click My Account – at the top right of the page

You can review your Current loans, Reservations available for pickup and Reservations not yet available

Cancel Reservations not yet available

Click the checkbox and select Cancel Selections

Edit Reservations

Click the checkbox and select Edit Reservation

You can clear any ‘Not required after’ dates (when the reservation expires)

How to make a Saved List

A Saved List is similar to a Wishlist, you can make a list of books you are interested in to reserve at a

later date

In My Account click My SavedLists and Add new SavedList

Give your SavedList a name

Click Add

Now search for the books you are interested in.

For a list of books click the checkbox and select Save Selections

An individual title click Save Record

To view your SavedList click

My SavedLists

View active SavedList

You could have many lists e.g. History list; Science list. To view all your SavedLists click

My SavedLists

View all SavedLists

Select a title to check if it is onloan and reserve from your SavedList.

To remove it from your SavedList click the checkbox and select Remove Selections

Next time you log on click My SavedLists and select your list

Continue to find books for your list.

How to ‘Suspend’ a reservation

The Suspend function allows you to create a delay before a reservation becomes active. It does not

guarantee that books will arrive on a certain date (other teachers may want it as well - or it may be on

loan).

Go go to My Account – Reservations not yet available

Select a Reservation – Edit Reservation

Select Suspend until scroll through calendar and select a date

Tick Clear any ‘Not required after’ dates

Click Continue

Reservation now shows Suspended until date
