How can I take notes?

Old way: 3x5 index cards

New way: Online with NoodleTools! – Stay organized easily

– Never lose your notes

– Avoid plagiarism

– Keep up with your sources

Your work is organized into projects.

Open a project you’ve started…or start a new one

Manage a project from your dashboard

Create notes directly from cited sources

Click “new” in the notecards category to create a new notecard tied to that source. Click “show” to see a card already created.

Notecards: thorough and easy

1. Cut-and-paste Capture author’s words, images

– Get quotes and attribution right

– Mark-up the quote to understand the author’s idea

2. Paraphrase or summarize Explain it to yourself

– Tag concepts and facts

– Avoid plagiarism

4. Select “Open” to view your notecards as a Word doc and print.
