WHAT IS IT? A superstition is a belief that a particular thing, event or circumstance holds some kind

of significance that something going to happen (bad or good) even though it’s not based on knowledge or reason. This belief can be based on fear, ignorance, trust in magic, coincidence, or a prior experience

with a similar situation.

WHICH ONES DO YOU KNOW?1. It is good luck to spit on a new one before

you use it.

2. It is bad luck if this animal crosses your path.

3. It’s good luck if you find one with four

leaves.

4. It’s good luck if this insect is in your

house.

5. It’s good luck if this animal follows your

ship.

6. It’s good luck to hang this

above your door.

7. It’s bad luck to walk under
