General ProblemThe main problem of STI College Malolos

Library is the lack of a broader and more efficient access to bibliographic data of the library collection.

Specific Problems Searching process is time-consuming. Computation of penalties. Creating library reports. Files can be easily tampered by anyone

because of unsecured storage of files/records. Tracking and flagging reserved items. The system does not fully support a well-

designed database system.

General ObjectiveThe main objective of this study is to

come up with Computerized Library System with Online Public Access Catalog for STI College Malolos.

Specific Objectives To create modules that provides quick and efficient

access to resource bibliographies and its availability. To create a program that will keep track on

computation of charges. To create a module that will automate report

generation. To develop a module that will secure the database

from unauthorized access. To handle reservation of books for patrons. To use a high-quality database.
