NFAAS / AFPAAS OVERVIEW:

PERSONNEL ACCOUNTABILITY STEPS

Step 2 Muster: Hurricane is approaching/ NFAAS/AFPAAS Event is declared

Step 1 Prepare: Log into NFAAS/AFPAAS and update personal & family contact info

Step 4 Evacuate: To a safe location, muster in NFAAS/ AFPAAS indicating displaced location of self/family

Step 5 Complete: Family Needs Assessment Survey in NFAAS/AFPAAS if help is required.

STEP 2: Share guidance on how to muster in NFAAS/AFPAAS with spouse/ family.

They should have access to log-in for situations where they must evacuate separately.

STEP 3: After evacuation, and immediately upon arrival at a displaced location/ safe haven

or destination, muster yourself and family members by phone IAW HURREVAC Wallet Card.

STEP 1: Log into NFAAS at https://navyfamily.navy.mil / AFPAAS https://afpaas.af.mil/

and update your personal and family member(s) information.

STEP 4: When NFAAS/AFPAAS comes on-line following the disaster/evacuation order,

Navy (Military and Civilian) Members will Log on to NFAAS/AFPAAS for muster update and

accountability. If assistance is required proceed to next Step.

STEP 5: Log into NFAAS/AFPAAS and complete a Family Needs Assessment request for help; and/or call the Emergency Call Center for assistance whereby a Case Manager will contact you soon after you register.
