• Increasing evidence1,2 emerging that NSAIDs may have a detrimental effect on post-operative adverse events

Aims

• To audit the safety profile of post-operative NSAIDs in current British surgical practice

• To form a student network with the capacity of undertaking clinical audit and research

Methods

• Identification of consecutive patients undergoing bowel resection over 14 day period

• Possible data collection from Tuesday 24th September - Monday 21st October 2013

• +30 day follow-up period
