man and a woman to kiss on the cheeks when they greet each other.

• In Spain, 2 kisses, one on each cheek, are used.

• In Latin America, one is used.

Apellidos• In Spanish Speaking cultures

most people use both last names.

• Some women add their husband’s last name after the word de. (ex.) Vera Santos de Soares

• Children use their mother’s last name.

(ex.) Nicholas Soares Santos, but not all Spanish speaking countries.
