The Achievement Gap

Black and Low Income students meet/exceeds percentage is making steady progress and rate of improvement is greater than that of the All group in Reading and Math.

The Black student achievement gap has decreased from 20.5 in 2005 to 17.1 in 2009 when compared to the All group in Reading and from 18.8 in 2005 to 15.3 in 2009 in Math.

The Low Income student achievement gap has decreased from 12.4 in 2005 to 10.0 in 2009 when compared to the All group in Reading and from 10.1 in 2005 to 7.3 in 2009 in Math.
