This is the sixth newsletter updating you on the status of the South Wing construction project. The focus of this edition is a general project update and room readiness. If there is a particular aspect of the project about which you would like to hear, let me know (vpaa@neomed.edu) and I will try to provide the information in future newsletters. Richard Kasmer-

General Project Update Many faculty and staff are wondering where we are in the completion of the overall project. Provided below is an abbreviated summary of tasks completed and those in progress. Solid progress has been made over the past month and we are on track for an opening in January 2020.

Beyond the Yellow Caution Tape – Work continues in Great Hall and Training Room as we continue to move towards the final stages of this project. The next big step has been the installation of the carpet. This task took approximately 1 week to complete due to the numerous steps in the process. This included room cleaning, floor preparation, laying the carpet, precise cuts for data and electrical ports, and placing the desks in the correct location.
