About us…CHROMATOURGIA TRIPOLEOS S.A. was first established in 1890 in Tripolis (Peloponnese, Greece). Since its foundation, the business and application of organic dyes has been the exclusive area of operations; bringing a high degree of specialisation and experience in a demanding field of the chemical industry. Today the Company is the only organic dyestuff producer in Greece.
The main industrial unit was moved in 1978 from Tripoli to Kastro, Viotias. For the last 20 years this unit has been specialized in manufacturing dyes & markers for fuels, under our own Know-How, serving the Local & EU refineries.
Since 1998 the Head Office, Quality control, R&D, Application Laboratories and Warehouse, along with the production of Leather, Textile, Paper & Detergent Dyes, are under one roof in our second unit, in Schimatari Viotias.
With over a century of continuous operation, the company has strengthened its key virtues. Mutual trust and immediacy describe our business.

Marker Dyes…
Each country has its own regulations for marking heating oil and engine fuels. The purpose is to distinguish fuels of different taxation levels as well as prevent fuel fraud.
