• approx. 1,500 blogs mainly in Georgia/ 10,000- 15,000 readership

• topics are mainly on a range of things, with political blogs occasionally popping up

Armenia

• majority of Armenian blogosphere lives on Livejournal.ru

• there is a variety of blogs in all three languages- Armenian, English and Russian

Azerbaijan

• plenty of blogs in different languages, including Turkish and Iranian- 30,000 (not all active however)

• few English language blogs writing on political situation in the country, but are popular due to the critical nature of their posts
