Launch of the Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) held on 31 March at the CIMA auditorium
CIMA, the International Labour Organization (ILO) Sri Lanka together with the The Employers' Federation of Ceylon launched a comprehensive partnership agreement to roll out the Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) short programme.
SCORE is a modular training programme that focuses on developing cooperative relations at the workplace. The five SCORE modules cover workplace cooperation, quality management, clean production, human resource management, and occupational health and safety. Each of the modules includes a joint, two-day classroom training for managers and workers and follow-up visits by experts to the participating enterprises
SLFRS 15: Revenue from Contracts with Customers
CIMA Sri Lanka will be holding a discussion on the latest developments in SLFRS 15 and its business impact.
The objective of SLFRS 15 will be to establish the principles that an entity shall apply to report useful information to users of financial statements about the nature, amount, timing and uncertainty of revenue and cash flows arising from a contract with a customer. The standard also will be providing a single, principles based five-step model to be applied to all contracts with customers.

GBC Regional Finals Regional Finals for Pakistan will be conducted on 4, 5 and 6 May in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad respectively. Top 4 teams from each city will be presenting from which top 3 will qualify for the Country Finals to be held at Lahore. Report submission deadline has reached and the results are awaiting to be published for the shortlisted teams for GBC Regional Finals.
