Beginning Wednesday, May13th Textbooks will be
collected in the main hall nearthe cafeteria before school
(8:15am - 8:30am) or can bereturned directly to Mrs.
Hennessy in the Tiger House(D208).
Any textbook not returned by
Friday, May 22nd will bemarked lost at 3:45pm.
Please contact Mrs. Hennessyat 469-302-5010 if you have
any questions about losttextbooks or how not returning

SJMS Jazz Band Performing at Honi's Coffee Shop!
Make plans tocome hear theSJMS Jazz Bandperform at Honi'sCoffee House onMay 23rd at 8 PM. Portions of theproceeds from thisevent will benefitthe SJMS Fine Arts Department. This special night features coffee drinks,food, local art vendors, and the talents of your SJMS Band Students. Thefun starts at 7:00 PM and ends at 11 PM. Honi's is located inside TheSurrey House at 312 S. Tennessee St, near Historic Downtown McKinney.

More Info on the 8th Grade Celebration Trip to Hawaiian Falls
Attention 8th Grade Parents:Attached to your 8th Grader'sProgress Report that was sent homeon Tuesday the 14th, you'll see agreen form like the one picturedhere. Please review these guidelineswith your student and have themsign along with your signature andreturn to school to the Front Officewith payment. This form insures thatyou and your student are both awareof the guidelines and expectationsleading up to the trip. Staying on the Invited List meansthat the following expectations mustbe met:1. No excessive tardiness to school2. No failing grades in core classes
3. No excessive discipline infractions4. All textbooks & library books must be returned to school by May 18th5. No office referrals from Monday May 4 - Thursday, May 216. Students must remain in Dress Code for the duration of the school year The day of the trip, students are encouraged to bring a string back packwith a towel, sunscreen, a change of clothes and an extra t-shirt to put onat the park. Girls are encouraged to wear a one piece or a tankini. Nostring bikinis are permitted. Boys are encouraged to wear a longer shorttype of trunk. Please remember students will be at a water park and will beout in the sun for the majority of the day. Please help your studentremember to use sunscreen and to dress appropriately. Students that donot have proper attire on, will be asked to wear a shirt over their suit orAdministration could send them home if necessary.
MISD Physical Exams for 2015 - 2016 School Year
Students participating in McKinney ISDathletics are REQUIRED to have ayearly physical prior to participation intryouts, practices, and games. Physicalsmust be on or After April 1, 2015 forparticipation in athletics for the 2015-2016 school year. Physicals must becompleted on the official MISD physicalform.

Outside of the three days provided by McKinney ISD, students areexpected to get a physical on their own as we do not offer a makeup orsecond physical day on any campuses.
