SIFE is going to get involved by filling 100 shoeboxes for children in need this Christmas

Operation Christmas Child

• Before you fill a box you must make two decisions:

• Boy or Girl• Age group

– 2-4, – 5-9, – or 10-14 (this is the least picked group)

• Now fill the box with items suitable for the age group and gender you chose

– GIFT IDEAS:

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

HYGIENE ITEMS

Other items to include:• Hard candy and lollipops

(please double bag all candy)• Mints & gum • T-shirts, socks & ball caps • Sunglasses• Hair clips & toy jewelry • Watches• Flashlights (with extra batteries)

• Items not to include– Used or damaged items; – war-related items such as toy guns, – knives or military figures; – chocolate or food; out-of-date candy; – liquids or lotions; – medications or vitamins;– breakable items such as snowglobes or glass

containers; aerosol cans.

chose

• After you have filled the box(es)– Bring them to the SIFE general meeting on Tuesday

the 16th of November– Include a $7.00 (or more if you like) donation in the

box to cover shipping costs for the organization.– Tell your friends!
