First time Ever in Central India, Real Time 3D Live Surgical Work Shop has been conducted in Sadguru Netra
Chikitsalaya under the aegis of 37th Annual Conference of Madhya Pradesh State Ophthalmic Society (MPSOS). It
was a huge success and another accolade in crown for SNCby organizing this event with the ease of knowledge sharing
in Ophthalmology. Being one of the best conferences, over 600 Delegates had overwhelmingly responded after
attending the conference. The conference includes the Real Time 3D Live Surgical Workshop,Symposium, Scientific
Sessions, cultural events and many more.The renowned names in Ophthalmology like Dr. R.V Azad, Dr. Keiki Mehta,
Dr. HarbanshLal, Dr. Barun Kumar Nayak, Dr. Sudhank Bharti, Dr. P.C Dwivediand Dr. Arup Chakraborty were the
chief guests in the conference. Dr. Alok Sen (Organizing President, MPSOC) and Dr. Elesh Jain (Organizing Secretary,
MPSOC) and their entire team had done tremendous efforts to make this conference a grand success.Surgeons and
consultants from SNC & all over Madhya Pradesh presented their research paper, out of which Dr. KhushbooBhattad
from SNC got best of the best paper award..During the cultural eves, outstanding performances had been given by
most of the renowned celebrities of Indian Television like Ability Unlimited Group (Physically challenged widely
acclaimed group), Prince Dance Group (India’s got talent, winner), HarshiMadhaparia, (UK Indian Idol Winner) had
given their astonishing performances. MPSOC-2013 had created a history in MPSOS Annual Conferences by
providing a platform for all the delegates to cherish some moments in both intellectual instincts and entertainment
sagas.

otherson 7th Nov, 2013with the blessings of “Our Gurudev” Shri
Ranchhod Dasji Maharaj. To carry forward his teachings/sayings and
objectives of Gurudev ,the disciples of Gurudev like Gurubhai’s and
Guruben’s from all over India were the part of this social/ noble
venture and contributed a lot to provide sight to the blind.
Librarians Workshop: 23rd – 29th Nov
Mr. Mukesh Singh, Librarian attended 2 different workshops held
at Coimbatore and Madurai. The workshops were organized by
Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai and Seva Foundation, USA. The
purpose of visit was to learn Change Management in Medical and
Healthcare Librarianship and how to take on the strategically
approach of Libraries through Practical Session for Librarians
Workshop on Doctor-Patient Relationship– 18thDec
A workshop on” Doctor-Patient Relationship “has been
conducted in Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya by Prof Dr. D.P Lokwani
(Vice Chancellor at M.P University of Health Sciences) on 18th
Dec, 2013. First time he visited SNC and he immensely fascinated
by the culture of SNC and he praised and pay gratitude towards
the trust& Dr. B.K Jain. He emphasized on his speech about the
current scenario of Doctors Malpractices and Patient conditions
and he had also given some of the practical solutions to overcome
this social problem. He proposes the plan for the Post Graduate course in Nursing and he found SNC the best place
for getting the competent and potential Nursing aspirants for future perspective.

Annual Health CheckupProgramme :
Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust is committed to maintain a healthy
workforce in accordance with the Trust’s objectives. In keep with this
commitment, on December 18th 2013, the Annual Health-check up 2013-
2014 for the employees of Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust was started off.
Health Check-up with blood test and eye-tests are being carried out in
stages with the employees above the age of 40 being tested first. Further
intent is to diagnose specially the diabetic cases - accordingly and
simultaneously work on Diabetic retinopathy cases as per the diagnosis.
National Eye Prevention Award
Dr. B.K.Jain, Director and Trustee received
‘Dr. M. C. Nahta eye prevention award’ for his specialized
and comprehensive eye services provided for prevention of
blindness in an ceremony organized by National Eye
Prevention organization at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The
program was chaired by Professor Ms. Awa Hussain,
President Saarc Academy of Ophthalmology, Bangladesh,
Dr. D.P.Lokwani, Vice Chancellor, Madhya Pradesh Medical
University and Dr. Shah MunirHussain
World Sight Day
The trust has celebrated World Sight Day with the universal theme
‘Get Your Eyes tested’. On the occasion the trust had an
Awareness rally in the surrounding accompanied with orientation
on different eye diseases in the form of slogans and posters. On
the day free screening was done at all vision centres in different
districts and counseled about the different ocular diseases to the
patients and their attenders. The purpose was to spread awareness
and to educate the community about the emerging eye diseases.

Miss Heidi Chase & Katie Judson from Seva Foundation visited
Chitrakoot during 09th-10th October 2013. The purpose of visit was
to have a exposure on SNC activities and Community Programs. They
also participated in ‘World Sight Day Celebrations’ as chief guest.
HMS Team visit
Dr. Glen Strauss, clinical expert MSICS, Mathew Walden, Clinical
Coordinator, Mr. Venkatraman, Director field operations and
Dr.Bidya Pant, Director, Geta Eye Hospital, Nepalvisited SNC to
overview the eye care activities of SNC and progress of Help Me
See project. The visit was from 01st October‐ 10th October, 2013
and Stefany Marranzini from Help Me See foundation visited SNC
on exposure visit from 04th Dec – 07th Dec, 2013.

Plastic Surgery Camp: 08th – 10thOctober
Under the aegis of the trust Jankikund Chikitsalaya has organized
three days Plastic Surgery camp from 08th – 10th October,
2013.The volunteer surgeons of the camp were Dr. VibhakarBaxi
from USA &Dr.Dasgupta from Mumbai. Total 21 patients got
benefited from Bundelkhand region.
World Diabetes Day: 14thNovember
World Diabetes Day (WDD) is celebrated every year on November
14. The World Diabetes Day campaign is led by the International
Diabetes Federation (IDF). It engages millions of people worldwide
in diabetes advocacy and awareness. Diabetes Education and
Prevention is the World Diabetes Day theme for the period 2009-
2013.JankikundChikistalaya celebrated the day with CME& Poster
presentation to educate the people regarding lifestyle and prevention of Diabetes
World AIDS day: 01st Dec
World AIDS day was organized in JKC on 1st December 2013.During
this day Nrsing students has performed play to create the awareness
among people on HIV/AIDS. They provide the knowledge on this
disease that What is HIV/AIDS, Where did HIV comes from? How
do you get HIV,Which body fluid contains HIV,Sign & Symptom and
how people can prevent? During the Program Dr.A.B.S.Rajput,
Doctors and Staff from JKC & Nursing students were presented.

World Non Violence Day: 2ndOct
On the occasion of ‘World Non Violence Day’, students of Sadguru Public Hr. Sec. School participated in
different competitions organized by ‘Sahitya Seva Sansthan’ Karwi. They participated in different competitions
like Speech, Drawing. Rangoli, General Knowledge and Essay writing competition. Students of SPHS won 7
prizes in different category of competition.
CCE Workshop: 3rd Oct
A group of thirteen teachers of Sadguru Hr. Secondary School visited Jabalpur to attend the workshop based on
CCE organized by CBSE. They learnt there about the Formative Assessment Tools.
United Nation Foundation Day: 23rd Oct
To commemorate the Foundation Day of United Nation, Students of
Sadguru Public School celebrated ‘United Nation Foundation Day’. On
the occasion the students of SPHS made Greeting Cards, Rangolis and
Posters, with the theme of World Peace/World Integration/Unity along
with the awareness slogans.
Children’s day: 14th Nov
Students of Sadguru Public Hr. Sec. School have
organised the children fair as ‘FOOD n FUN’ to
commemorate the Birth day of Pt. Jawaharlal
Nehru, first Prime Minister of our independent
country. The fair is inaugurated by Dr. B K Jain and
Mrs. Usha B Jain was the ‘guest of honour’ on this
occasion.Students of all levels participated in this
fair and decorated their stalls for selling their food
items. They also kept some fun and games in their stalls.
Sadguru ShikshaSamiti- Chitrakoot
Annakoot Mahotsav celebration at Raghuveer Mandir
Under the aegis of the Trust, Raghuveer Mandir Trust
celebrated Annakoot Mahotsav on 14th November, 2012. On
this day many varieties of food items were offered to Lord
Krishna for prosperity of life, this day is also called
"ANNAKOOT" meaning heap of food items. Shri Raghuveer
Mandir Trust offered around 508 types of food times to Lord
Krishna with various mantras and hymns. Later the food was
distributed as PRASAD (Food item filled with divine positive
energy by the glance of GOD) among devotees and Sadhus in the form of ‘Bhandara’. The celebration was shared by
Gurubhais and Sadguru Parivar on the occasion with lot of joy and happiness.
Tulsi Vivah – The Ritual
The symbolic wedding ritual of TulsiVivah is performed in the
evening. Devotees fast till the dusk and take up devotional
activities as soon as the sun is down. Tulsi plant is decorated
with flowers and all other paraphernalia of a bride. Amongst
vedic mantras the sacred marriage is performed at auspicious
time. Delicacies cooked are offered to Tulsidevi and prasad is
distributed among the devotees. Shri Raghuveer Mandir Trust
celebrated the TulsiVivah with Bhagwan Shaligram. Devotees of
Gurudev from all over India & abroad and Sadguru Parivar joined celebration of TulsiVivah. Mr. Rajesh Sonpal and
Family represented the groom’s (Bhagwan Shaligram) family and Dr. Abhay Singh and family represented bride’s
(Tulsi) family.

With the blessings of Param Pujya Shri Ranchhoddasji Maharaj the 108 kundiyaMahayagya was initiated with the
candles lightning byNational President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Shri Ashok Singhal on the occasion of 500th Birth
Anniversary of our Gurudev Shri Param PujyaRanchhodasji Maharaj at the trust campus from 03rd Dec and lasted on
11th Dec. The yagya was organized by Param pujya Shri Haricharan das ji Maharaj, disciple of Gurudev and followed
by lot of disciples of Gurudev and saints from other parts of the country. The yagya came to an end with Huge
Bhandara in which around thousands of people participated and took blessing of saints.

Mitra Mandal in the guidance of Smt. Usha.B.Jain, has organized RaasDandiya Competition on the occasion in which
teams comprising students of Sadguru Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Science, Vidyadham Hr. secondary and
primary school, Sadguru Public School, Shri Ram Sanskrit Mahavidlaya and Staff of SNC and JKC participated with
joy and happiness. Among the participation from the team MaaAmbe group won the first, Vaidahi Group won the
second and Chalia group won the third prize in the event.
NGO ASIA EXPO Conference: 19th -20th Nov
The NGO Asia Expo Conference was Asia’s biggest Exhibition for NGO’s, NPO,s and Social Foundations. It was an
opportunity for the exhibitors to show their ability to work beyond borders and build transnational partnerships which
allow them to effectively tackle environmental problems, trafficking, and other concerns that extend beyond political
boundaries. Their willingness to address threats that other groups may overlook or fear to tackle make them effective
advocates in protecting human rights and confronting governmental and corporate corruption and their often single-
minded commitment and strong motivation gives them a civic power that other institutions may lack. Communication
team comprises of Ms. Karuna (Mumbai Head office), Mr. Shailendra, Mr. Amit, Mr. Rishi and Mr.
Shankarparticipated in the conference and delivered our activities orientation through stall; the trust had at the
conference.

Anganwadi & Asha workers training program:
At SSNC, Anandpur organized on 30th Oct, 2013 An
“ANGANWADI & ASHA WORKERS – PRIMARY EYE CARE
TRAINING&AWARENESS PROGRAM’’about 50 women health
workers participated from Aaron block. Training was given by Dr.
Rohini Mankikar Pore about primary eye problems and diagnosis of
cataract, glaucoma etc. Mr. Shakeel Ahmed (Program Manager) also
had given brief information about eye hospital facilities & services
so that the health workers can help out to the patients in the
community to avail the benefits of SSNC services.
MPSOS (Madhya Pradesh State Ophthalmic Society) Conference:
Dr.Dharmendra Singh, Dr.Abhishek Purohit, Dr.Rohini Mankikar Pore
and Mr.RavindraUpadhyay (Administrator) participated in MPSOS
conference 18th to 20th Oct, 2013 at Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Ttrust,
Chitrakoot. There were two paper presentations on behalf of SSNC,
Anandpur, presented by Dr.Rohini Mankikar Pore on Community
Ophthalmology such as: 1. Comprehensive eye check up… its
importance in community patients. 2. over the counter misuse of topical
steroids in patients with active Keratities.

NGO ASIA EXPO. (CSR Live Conference):
SHRI SADGURU SEVA SANGH TRUST Participated in NGO Asia
Expo, at New Delhi on 19th& 20th Nov, 2013. Mr. S Shankar (Asst.
Administrator) attended for CSR Live conference. NGO's &
Corporate participated in the conference are working in almost all
parts of India. Many Ngo’s showed interest in partnering with us, they
need our support to do the camps in their working areas in an around
Madhya Pradesh. Even we have met many NGO’s who are specialized
in Education and in health industry. (Major participatory corporate
foundation - Tata steel, Hindustan zinc limited, Jindal steel & power,
Aditya Birla, Max foundation, Adani foundation, Muthoot Group & Reliance Foundation).
Education on Eye Health:
Navin Fluorine International Limited (Mafatlal group), Dewas organized Training program on “prevention of eye
injury while working in factory area” & Eye Checkup camp at Dewas, Madhya Pradesh for two days on 30th Nov and
01st Dec, 2013. The camp was organized in association of Sadguru Sankalp Netra Chikitsalaya, Anandpur. One eye
surgeon& medical team from SSNC provided their services in this noble cause. About 700 patients from different cast
and class of society were inspected for eye problems. Free medicines were distributed to all. Free glasses were given to
few who are poor and cannot afford. Special pick and drop facility by company van was organized for few eye patients
from Old Age Home of Dewas. Vice President, HR and Admin, Mrs.Charu from Corporate and Mr. Birari, Site Head,
Dewas were the mentors behind this program organized under Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

6th Annual Sadguru Youth Camp:
The 6th Annual Sadguru Youth cam was held from 26th-29th Dec, 2013. A team of volunteers led by Sukrutbhai
Jobanputra and ParthBhaiSejpal from Bombay to conduct various activities such as: Distribution of Household Items;
and Blankets. Shri N. B. Lohani, Mr.AsitGhosh Dr. Vishnubhai Jobanputra, Mr.GovardhanUpadhyay and other
