She made a puppet show called The Sheri Lewis Show and she is also ventriloquist. A ventriloquist is a person who can talk

with their mouth closed. She also was good puppeteer. I picked her because she made good puppet shows.

She taught kids numbers, letters, words, and math.

She taught through puppets and songs on her TV show.

EARLY LIFE

Early life was bad for Shari Lewis because she lived in the Great Depression. Her family did not have enough money. She was also learned a lot of piano when she was a kid.

CHALLENGES

Early in her life, she lived in the Great Depression so she didn’t have a lot of items. Her parents had to find a job to get more money.

She had had breast cancer and uterine cancer which led to her death.

She was a ventriloquist and a puppeteer. She was also a children’s entertainer and she made three popular puppets that were called, “Lamb Chop,” “Hush Puppy,” and “Charlie Horse.”
