• Little documented information actually exists about his childhood.

• Church baptism and funeral records suggest Shakespeare was born in 1564 and died in 1616.

• He grew up in a town called Stratf0rd-on-Avon and later moved to London to become an actor and playwright.

The common age for non-noble families to get married was around 25-26 years of age for men and around 23 years of age for women.
