According to a study by ComScore, over 45.5 million people in the United States owned smartphones in 2010 out of 234 million total subscribers

In March 2011 Berg Insight reported data that showed global smartphone shipments increased to 74% from 20% in 2010.

Some smartphones, have a docking station with an external display and keyboard to create a desktop or laptop environment.

Nokia: 41%

Blackberry: 18%

Android: 17%

Apple iPhone: 14.2%

MS Windows Mobile: 5%

Linux: 2%

Other: 2%

AutismA physical condition linked to abnormal biology and chemistry in the brain. Exact causes of these abnormalities remain unknown, but this is a very active area of research. There are probably a combination of factors that lead to autism.

A software for smartphones and PDAs that will facilitate on-the-go communication with autistic children is being developed.

Our target group are the very young or severe autistic children who need either a first learning device or who will never go beyond using image-based communication.

It is because of the above mentioned research that I then say that Smartphones are affecting the education system very positively.

There would be no way for these children to get an education because of their condition.

It would be said by many researchers that smartphones have a negative effect on the society…

I don’t agree with these.. I believe that in my presentation I have given enough reason to believe that the addition of smartphones to our society is a positive thing…
