ABSTRACT

The project involves the design of a embedded system that can be used to send & receive SMS through GSM technology. Usage of this technology accomplishes communication between the embedded system and mobile phone.

The vital aspect involves the usage of a GSM modem by means of AT (Attention) commands.

MOTIVATION & OBJECTIVE

To utilize our skills towards design and development of applications related to GSM technology

GSM is the latest technique used for communication between the mobile and the embedded devices.

The objective of the project is to send and receive SMS by means of a GSM Modem

• Global System for Mobile Popular standard for mobile
